Welcome to the Wild Scotland Podcast!

Wild Scotland is the Scottish Wildlife Tourism Association - a not-for-profit organisation comprising of wildlife and nature tourism professionals, all of whom are committed to helping people get outdoors and enjoy Scotland's fantastic wildlife and nature.
Wild Scotland is the first association of its kind in the UK and was formed in 2003 by concerned wildlife tourism operators who, noticing the rise in interest in wildlife tourism, were keen to ensure that wildlife watching was encouraged but within sustainable boundaries. Currently comprising 80 members across Scotland, all of whom are wildlife and nature tourism operators, Wild Scotland encourages Scottish wildlife tourism whilst also safeguarding Scotland’s wildlife and natural environment.
The association’s vision is for Scotland to be Europe’s No.1 wildlife-watching destination and the achievement of this vision steers the association’s activities. Wild Scotland members help people from all walks of life make the most of their time in Scotland – whether they have come specifically to watch wildlife or are including wildlife watching as part of a wider range of holiday activities. From land safaris and whale-watching cruises, to birdwatching services and photography holidays, Wild Scotland members offer some of the most varied wildlife experiences in Europe.
